"We only stayed 1 night but the room was lovely and clean. The lady that checked us in was really friendly and welcoming and said that we could be heck in early when we came in to drop our cases off which really helped us have more time on our short trip. However, why really let the trip die was when we went to pick up our cases up and the lady at reception was incredibly rude to my dad. As we went in (around 7.30pm over 4 hours after check in) there was a huge queue of people who’d just got off a coach. We’d be happy to wait but we didn’t want to rush for our train "
"Loved Hampton by Hilton in York. Looks new, extremely clean, wonderful staff, loved the big hot breakfast included. A very short walk to the train from London and a short walk to wonderful restaurants and attractions such as The Shambles."

"What a place. Great from start to finish. Check in was a breeze was bags being taken to swift check in and shown to the room. Room was lovely and was very spacious and even included a big deep bath. Drinks in the bar were great and morning breakfast was delicious and I loved the a al carte option. Spa is not to be missed, so relaxing and well worth the money"
