"Arrived at hotel to be given a room number 368 that didn’t exist, not a good start after a long journey. Booked in for dinner at hotel restaurant, service was okay but food was disappointing in terms of quantity and not prepared as described by the menu. When this was pointed out to the staff we were told that the menu was changing next week and so this shouldn’t happen again, not good. Our room was very warm, there was no heating on, but when we opened the window to let in some cooler air we realised we were close to the kitchen extract fan pumping out a greasy and unpleasant smell. Overall very disappointing as we use Hilton Double Tree hotels regularly and this particular hotel was not up to the expected standard I’m afraid."

"Not off to a good start. Was given an already occupied room. Then second room bed wasnt clean. Third room was great. Had family with us and they had no issues. Hotel was lovely bar/ restaurant was nice. Breakfast was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful "

"Enjoyed stay. Better value than some other similar hotels nearby. Close to town centre. Also like to give thanks to reception staff who who very helpful, kindly charging my iPhone in their office for me when it ran out charge. "

"We stay on a regular basis ,can't fault the picked sprout restaurant, food always top notch ,rooms a bit dated but comfortable and always clean ."

"Breakfast was the best we have ever had in a hotel. Everything fresh, hot(where required) staff attentive and polite. Car parking on site very good. Rooms were clean large and everything you could need. Tea coffee milk endless supply if needed."

"The setting of this hotel is beautiful. The room we had was recently renovated and was extremely comfortable. The staff were great, very friendly and attentive. We will be back to Harrogate and will definitely look to stay here again. The on-site Amber's restaurant is divine, and the food was amazing."

"Close the Town centre, parking spot on. Staff very welcoming, breakfast very good. Floor boards creaky hotel a littled dated but made up for it with charm cleanliness, & good staff"
