"I stayed overnight at The Grand York recently and had a lovely experience. I had a late check-in and Nigel (the porter) arranged a table at a lovely restaurant nearby for me. The room was extremely nice (there was one minor issue which I raised with staff the next day, but wasn’t anything major that it detracted from my stay). "A bitter sweet stay. All the usual amenities, lovely clean room, nice evening meal, easy free parking, with the highlight being greeted by the delightful Nevada. The sad ending was to find that this is her last week. She has been a real credit to the hotel, and I wish her well in wherever her career path takes her next."

We loved the Halls historic features which were highlighted in Christmas decor making it very special.
