"Booked in advance so good value. Plenty of free parking; registration plate is required with check-in. The man on reception was efficient and friendly. Hallway to room was clean and smelt fresh. Room had desk, two chairs, storage/hanging space, TV, was clean, neat and tidy with comfortable beds. A kettle with coffee tea facilities were provided. "We loved our stay! My spouse and I were initially unsure about the shared bathroom, but it turned out to be a non-issue. The grounds were delightful, and while the room was small, the design made it feel just right—cozy and well thought-out. Breakfast was a highlight: the morning walk to it added charm, and the meal itself brought real joy. The location was excellent—peaceful yet well-connected. "I was given a room on the ground floor which was set out for a disabled person as were most of the other GF rooms. I’m sorry but this was not suitable it felt like staying in an old folks home and I had booked 3 nights. When I asked for a room change I was told the hotel was fully booked, I was not happy with this as I had paid approximately £90.00 a night to stay in a hospital room. I’m not very happy and won’t return to this hotel "

"Perfect for a short stay, close to central town."

"I came in June 2025 and came back in August 2025 and was just as pleased as the first stay. Perfect location, very clean rooms,,the staff is perfect informative and always helpful. My room was perfect with a perfect view. My first stay in June was for 6 nights and this stay in August was for 6 nights. You step out of the hotel directly to your safe boardwalk and it is located next to the town for all you needs and comfort "

"Excellent accommodation in a quiet location. The Lodge is situated in lovely private grounds with electronic gates in Hemingford Grey. We stayed in the Oak room and loved the size of the room and the lovely bathroom. The room was very stylish from the oak flooring to the furniture and the bathroom. A good breakfast (cereals, fresh fruit salad, yogurt, toast etc) was delivered on a tray to our room at a time to suit you. "We came at night and left early for the airport so we didn’t encounter any services but that’s okay, the keys were super easy to find. The room was clean and super cozy! The bathroom was really clean especially the sink and the shower! Really great stay would definitely recommend. "
