"Great location, friendly staff. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The location was excellent for our visit to the Fringe and our favourite place, the Grassmarket was two minutes away. The room was rather warm but opening the window onto the main street brought in a fair bit of noise. The shower/toilet rooms were clean. However, the shower was fixed with no scope for movement, and the spray went right over me, without really getting me wet (I'm 5'1" tall or should I say short)."

"It was a really good stay. The people at the reception were very friendly, helpful and kind. You could actually let your luggage with them if you arrived too early and before the check in time which was really convenient. The check-in only took aroud 5 minutes. 10/10 Excellent

"Solo traveller and 1st time to Edinburgh. Located right on the royal mile and within walking distance to historical sites, restaurants, and to top it off even with Fringe Fest happening, CODE made sure that their guest were well taken care of. The Pend which is the communal space and social theater room, were amazing. The inside bar was a great plus. I especially loved how CODE had luggage storage for early arrivals and late departures. Would stay again and highly recommended to anyone."
