"A relaxing stay. Lovely team that felt like family. They couldn’t do enough for us. Kerry at reception was exceptional- very professional and knowledgeable. Jo was an absolute gem. The kitchen staff were brilliant. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
The location of the hotel made it especially great due to the amenities nearby in the plaza and fuel station. I highly recommend"

"We had an enjoyable 5-night stay at the Port Gaverne Hotel. The service was excellent and the food was very good. We enjoyed the variety of offerings at breakfast and the Sunday Roast. This is not "pub food."
This is an old hotel and be advised that the rooms are small and up steep stairs, although the staff helped with luggage. We were there during a heat wave and there is no air conditioning, which is typically not needed. The bed was comfortable and the bedding lovely.

"An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months"

"We loved the size of the double room en suite overlooking the countryside. We loved being in such an old building, and the way they decorated the walls with local historical significance. To think my ancestors may have entered this place through the generations."

"Needlessly complicated check in process - why did I have to supply my ID? There is no UK legal requirement for this and most places don't do it. The booking app has my details if anything goes wrong. My room (6) was in a dark lower basement, not listed as such. I asked for upstairs room which was available but it did not have a cooking stove. "We enjoyed a wonderful stay in the 'Nauti' Shepherd's hut. It was so cosy, warm, clean and immaculately presented. The bed was super comfortable and everything we could have needed was provided. A great location, with a peaceful and relaxing countryside setting. Great communication from the hosts. We will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommended for a cornish get away. "
