"We had such a relaxing stay! The highlight of our room was definitely the oversized jacuzzi tub—it felt like having our own private spa. The tub was spotless, easy to use, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed with everything we needed. "Short stay in town for a funeral. Nice location. Centrally located. Easy access to most restaurants and activities in Eureka."

"I wasn’t expecting anything mind blowing, and the woman at the front desk was really nice and that area was clean, but when I got to my room, it was a different story even though the bed was clean the surrounding room, the bathroom and the kitchen area were also filthy that I didn’t feel comfortable in the bed even though it was the cleanest part of the room I only encountered one cockroach, but that’s enough isn’t it? It went through an entire package of wet wipes, trying to wipe down...

"Having just packed up from an 8-day camping trip, the sweet, comfy and very private living room and bedroom suite above the garage was perfect for me. The rooms were very clean, there was plenty of hot water, the towels were new and soft and the Dish TV service excellent--plus the hosts kind and attentive. I hope to return to charming Ferndale one day, and enjoy staying at the old inn once again. "

"The property sits hard alongside a main thoroughfare in and out of Ereaka California. It is noisy made worse during my stay by roadwork being done overnight. The resurfacing noise sounded just like a car with giant subwoofers blasting into the wee hours. There was not a single trash an in the room which might have explained the water flooding from another room downstairs given that the toilet was the only place to discard things. "
