"We had an overnight layover and this hotel turned out to be a great choice to rest and recharge. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the bar stayed open late with food options available. They also offer airport transportation at a reasonable price, which was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again if the need arises."

"My husband & I had to travel from the other end of the country to visit an elderly relative in the nearby hospital, and needed a reasonably-priced last-minute room for 2 nights. This fitted the bill perfectly, and I knew we'd made the right choice when I spoke to the Manager. What a lovely guy: friendly, honest, helpful, straightforward, and so easy to deal with. "The property is old so there are some things that can't be made better unless it's remodeled. With that said, the property is a great accommodation for an overnight layover from Gatwick Airport. Breakfast items are available very early so you can grab something before your early flight and the shuttle service was very dependable. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Room was great, hallway carpet is filthy. Off hours (11 pm to 11 am) you enter from a side door which is locked unless other guests have left it open."

"Loved this little b&b. Area is walkable, lots of shops, restaurants and things to do. Close to the water and about a 20 min walk from the train station. Floor is definitely slanted but other than that this place is wonderful. It’s fairly quiet, has a window, a fridge and a small but not too small shower. The cable didn’t work but the staff tried to fix it for us. Check in was friendly and accommodating. "

"A very nice place to stay. This is not a tourist destination but the nearby area is very nice and worth a walk. There is a very nice pub at the hotel and we eat well. The room was very nice and clean."

"The property needs improvement: Toilet seat loose ,broken ! Shower head has been mended with some plastic material to avoid leaking (did not work) TV not working ,pillows we’re disgusting very dirty ,communication not so great . We were told that check in started at 4pm but when we got there at 04:30 pm the flat was still occupied,not good enough we’ve travelled all the way from London . Floor carpets very uneven and dirty looking ! Not staying there ever again and will not recommend to...
