"We loved staying at this Ryokan! It had a nice, peaceful atmosphere to it, and offered everything we needed. The room was spacious and the staff was friendly. Every evening ended with a warm bath in the onsen, which we really enjoyed. Upon arrival, we got a map of the area and som restaurant recommendations, which were very good as well. I strongly recommend this Ryokan for a relaxing and authentic experience while visiting Kanazawa. "

"Very comfortable stay, quiet and most beautiful area with lots to walk to from coffee, restaurants and shops in the geisha area with stunning scenery. Great shower and bathroom, comfortable bed and Mitsukawa provided everything and anything that might have been missing like ice, iron. "

"The staff was absolutely incredible and the breakfast and suppers were amazing. This was the highlight of our trip! A lot of things can be walkable within the towns, but a car makes more sense for any of the heritage sites. There is only one restaurant open until 8:00 pm that is about a 9 minute walk, but everything else closes pretty early. Stocking up on supplies is a must - but 10/10 recommend eating at this Ryokan! Everything was amazing. "

"I greatly enjoyed my stay at Murataya, a fantastic little ryokan placed excellently along the Katamachi/Korinbo districts. The service was attentive and the rooms were clean, with delicious tea provided alongside an insulated pitcher to be prepared at one's convenience.
