"I only have positive things to say about this hotel. It exceeded our expectations. The location is PERFECT. Right next to all the tour operators, the town square, restaurants, the market, the bus to Xunantunich, etc. The bed was really big and comfortable. Slept like a baby. "I absolutely loved my stay at the Drift Inn in Cayo. Bike rental was cheap and convenient, though I wish they had bike locks. Air conditioning was so nice to have. Great atmosphere, live music and karaoke on weekends, staff were all very social and welcoming. Made me feel right at home. Their restaurant also had some of the best food I’ve had in all of Belize. If you like Belizean culture, sometimes they have the Garifuna Collective play a concert, sadly I missed it! I would recommend this...

"Joe & Miriam (sp?) were very friendly and engaging hosts. We went to the Caracol Mayan site and also did a boat/swimming/waterfall tour. Joe is very knowledgeable about Mayan ruins. He is most enthusiastic about showing you his native country. Miriam is a great cook. We thoroughly enjoyed our jungle experience."

"I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again."
