"Booked a family room, as the room was in a family friendly pub. On arriving the room wasn’t ready, there was a party in the bar area and lots of used drinks and 1/2 eaten meals on the bar, only one of the three bulbs in the light worked and the door lock was repaired with some form of cardboard and didn’t lock easily. Some one came in and made up the second bed.The pillows and quilt were stained. The family room is located directly above the bar, they clearly had a party on which we were not...

"The property was basic, as expected, but the host's behavior was shockingly unprofessional and erratic. After honestly correcting a simple booking mistake (one guest instead of two) and promptly offering payment, the host initially seemed polite but slow to respond. Things turned serious when I accidentally locked myself out of the bedroom—without shoes or phone—and urgently contacted him via my smartwatch. He claimed he'd arrive in an hour but vanished for hours, ignoring multiple calls....

"A clean and comfortable place to stay for the night. Rather late check-in, and early check-out, to accommodate the owners, who do not live on the premises. Breakfast was not included but we were given a good recommendation. Staff friendly and helpful and a very reasonable price."

"Parking was really handy as it was a designated spot for the accommodation. The area was quiet and the home was lovely with added amenities My friend slept upstairs and I slept downstairs on the couch. The couch was a little hard for me to sleep on but a really good size. Toilet downstairs was handy and a good size bathroom upstairs. "I booked this for my family during my wedding and wow is all i can say. The soace was stunning and Harriet and Giles just could not do enough for us. I was blown away by theirckindness and generosity. To the point at which they let us put my wedding cake in the fridge. Honestly the best hosts ive ever had.
