"This was a lovely stay. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and the bed was soooo comfy! Lots of tea and coffee in the room and lovely and warm. "

"I loved the Turf hotel. We were late arriving but the young lady stayed on site until we arrived. That alone is worthy of a good review. The room was fine, a little run down but certainly not a problem. The bedding was fantastic, plenty of pillows and a lovely warm duvet. We were only there briefly, we left straight after breakfast (which was really nice). Everybody we spoke to was super happy & helpful. I think we'll be back in the area soon and the Turf will be my first phone call for...

"Rooms were immaculate warm and welcoming atmosphere the staff were lovely. Steven couldn’t of done enough to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable will be returning in the future.

"Spotless room, all necessary amenities, a very comfortable bed and a great shower. Easy check-in and convenient parking. Weather bad during stay, but very warm and cosy, and a very pleasant stay. Many thanks, xx"

"This property was really beautiful and the staff were so kind! Unfortunately as it's an older building, there is no lift to the rooms so it probably won't be accessible to people with mobility challenges. "

"Large bedroom and recently modernised en-suite. All clean and tidy. Nice and warm (4 day stay in January). Breakfasts were excellent and the food available for the evening meals in the pub part of the hotel was also good. All of the staff were warm, friendly and helpful. The car park is big. Breakfast does not start until 7.30am. You order it from the menu the night before and it was always ready for 7.30 for me, but I was there on business it left me quite tight for getting to my meeting...
