"Great value for money and brilliant location. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice! Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Room would benefit from a little tlc but was clean. Air-con not the best but shower was great! Overall, a very enjoyable and pleasant stay."

"The hotel is set inan amazing area. Walking distance to a shops. The hotel rooms were big and inviting. It was spotless and tidy. The bathroom showed some age but was perfectly functional. And as a cyclist you are very close to an old train track bed that is a shared cycle walking path with a tunnel that runs directly under the hotel. And into the main town centre. "

"Beds we very comfortable. Good quality sheets and duvet, perfectly pressed. We had two rooms. One with a balcony overlooking the river. Well worth the extra cost for before and after dinner river watching and early morning. The second room was labelled cosy double but had plenty of room. Staff very friendly and good menus. I really like that atmosphere. It’s relaxed and classy at the same time. "

"It was a great place to stay! It was centrally located to visit Stonehenge. Amesbury is a great town. Our hosts were very gracious, the accommodations very inviting, and the breakfast was awesome. Highly recommend this location for anyone going to Stonehenge. "

"Staying on the houseboat was certainly the unique experience that we'd hoped it to be. We arrived later than planned but a quick call to the host helped us navigate to the parking area and gave us directions to meet him at the boat. Overall was a great stay, only disappointed that the taxes and fees are so high, and that I did not receive the check-in instructions in advance so I had to reach out to get that just before I arrived."
