"Arrived to a lovely warm welcome from the owner. The room was comfortable and spacious ( only niggle the bed creaks) Huge bathroom enjoyed a lovely soak in the bath! Very clean and well maintained. Gorgeous original victorian / edwardian features around the house. Great cooked breakfast. Very close to city center so easy to find places to eat in the daytime and evening. "

"Came up for the Kielder Marathon weekend. Cosy cottage which had everything we needed. Comfy bed, powerful hot shower and good kitchen facilities. "

"The staff, the food at both dinner and breakfast were excellent. Parking is just across a quiet road. Our room however left us literally cold. Old building, 'wavy' floors, single glazed casement windows facing the prevailing - brisk - wind and an outside temperature of close to freezing. Then the heating gets switched off for the night ! Considering that this was the most expensive 'one nighter' on our recent trip, we were less than satisfied."
