"The location was great. Easy to walk to Times Square and the different show theaters.
But, The staff does not go out of their way to greet you but if you spoke to them, they were friendly. This hotel is very old and outdated. "Very dated hotel with super hard mattresses. The windows are very thin and you hear all the traffic noise from 7th avenue all night long. At one point I actually checked to ensure the window was closed because the traffic noise was so loud and it was 2am. The water pipes are very dated and make a ton of noise when you or the neighboring room are using the toilet or shower. Our sink handles leaked when you turned on the faucet so there was always water pooling. No security to get on and off...

"We recently stayed at Hampton Inn Manhattan-Chelsea. Let's break this down:
