"Clean room, very nice staff "

"Unfortunately from arrival it didn’t start well. Prior to arrival we were given a discounted parking code that had expired and was told on arrival that they no longer give codes out despite giving an expired code via email before arrival. Room is dated and needs an upgrade. Bed was very soft and uncomfortable. Cleanliness wasn’t great but we ignored it as we weren’t in the room long. Breakfast was ok, but overall poor and wouldn’t stay again."

"We recently stayed at The Beacon Hotel, Cardiff. As a 3-star hotel, it’s fairly basic and not the most modern or spotless, but it was adequate for a short stay. The location is convenient for getting around Cardiff, and the room had the essentials we needed. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a decent selection to start the day. A special thank you to Fatima, who looked after us really well during breakfast. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Her service was definitely the highlight of our stay. Overall, a simple stay made better by great customer service."
