"We had a family bedroom with two beds in a quite spacious room above reception. The room was ok but a little tired. Hotel is on the outskirts of Peterborough and we stayed there for easy access to Burghley house and Stamford Village which are 20 to 30 minute drive away. "Rooms were clean and fresh and breakfast was very good.
What wasn’t so good was that bath towel was damp, either from not being changed or not dried thoroughly.
We found the mattress quite hard and sleeping was not helped by the people above us running round at 12:30 pm- assume it was children,"

"Staff were amazing, room was great and overall stay was good. Only downfall i had was the room was way to hot. The little fan provided was just blowing hot air around. Air conditioning would be a good investment especially during summer. I would have booked another night but the room temperature has put me off booking again."

"On check in the gentleman was cheerful and helpful. Explained night porter service, bar and food times and where n when breakfast was with no prompts. Bar staff were cheerful and amenable. Parking was easy and plentiful. Hotel guest parking is free. Had an evening meal which was good. Bar runs a happy hour. Breakfast is continental and cooked.
Cooked breakfast is prepared to order and arrived hot and perfectly cooked 5*"
