Dormy Inn Ikebukuro Hot Springs

"As expected from a Dormy, I love the amenities that come with your stay. They have a very extensive manga library with the usual popsicles/yogurt drinks, along with a microwave and laundry facilities. Bath area felt small, but works for the space. I especially loved the shampoo bar and the lookout window in the outdoor bath! Mineral bath and scented sauna were also nice perks along with the energy/sports drinks available in the change room. They also have their complimentary late night snack noodles and drinks in the lobby. The location isn't the closest to the nearest station, but there's plenty of combinis, a 24hr grocery store and shopping nearby. It's a great area if you want to do some anime shopping with the flagship Animate and a ton of other anime-related stores near by. Overall, the location requires a little walking, but it's nice and quiet. The staff were super friendly and very helpful with checking in. I didn't interact with them much, but my initial encounter was friendly, professional and very welcoming, especially arriving from Narita. Will definitely look forward to staying at this Dormy Inn location again!"

"Spacious room, 4 single beds and enough room to open 4 suitcases without a struggle. Room clean, staff had no problems conversing in English, a 6-7 minute walk to the station."

"Always a pleasure to stay here. The staff are helpful and friendly. My favorite staffer remembered me from previous stays, indicative of how much these are "people persons". The Yanaka neighborhood where the property is located is charming and fun to walk around and through."

"This is our second time staying at this property. Pretty much next-door to a JR station., which means you’re close enough to the major tourist attractions without staying within the chaos. We’ll stay there again on our next trip to Tokyo."
