"Staff were attentive and helpful. The ryokan does not reply to messages written in English. so I wasn't able to plan my itinerary as I did not when dinner and breakfast were. I had to catch an early morning train to Himeji. The hotel provided a ride to the train station and a onigiri Bento breakfast for the train ride since I would miss their breakfast. "

"We were greeted with freshly made hot tea and cakes, and an incredibly informative introduction to the hotel, amenities, and local area. They also provided wine in the lobby and an open bar with multiple drinks and small snacks until midnight and 0200 respectively which was almost unbelievable until we saw it ourselves. "

"Property is centrally located in Kinosaki Onsen’s main street and canal. It is also almost in front of Jizou-Yu, one of Japan the town’s seven public baths. Room I stayed in was modern and recently built or renovated. This ryokan has its own bath. Staff at check in was very nice and helpful. They do let you know that staff after a certain time in the afternoon do not speak English and there is an 11:30 PM curfew - they lock the doors. "Love the size is the hotel, not too big, not too small. Food was great and the hotel was clean with very friendly staff! It made for a real relaxing stay."
