"Lovely hotel in a perfect location. I booked this hotel for a special occasion and the staff did a fantastic job to make us feel welcome and special. "Very friendly staff. Rooms nice, beds really comfortable. Lovely breakfast area and lounge. Two pubs across the road as a change for evening meals as only booked B&B. We were there on a very hot week but had aircon in rooms. Large free car park which is a bonus round York. Bus services along the main road are frequent. No4 from outside Cross Keys pub takes you into centre which is only 1 and half miles. Would definitely stay again if visiting York. "

"Nice hotel, friendly staff, the room has the usual tea/coffee facilities as well as a hair dryer, iron and board. Plenty of space in the accessible room with a huge bathroom with loo and shower. TV was a nice size, bed comfy and the breakfast was really tasty with plenty of choices from cooked (bacon, sausage, scrambled egg etc) to croissants and cereals. Parking is next door in a multi storey and the hotel offers a discount on this once you put your registration into the tablet. We stayed 2...
