"This place has a brilliant location, staff were fantastic and very helpful, but just please stop with the air freshners or whatever they are using, its so overpowering, and not nice, also I think people can handle old decor etc, just dont add bling to the old, why not get an interior designer pay them and get their help, it could be so cute, leave the old beams and old features, just take out the spangled headboards and blingy pictures, and please please please stop with the pungent air...

"Even though the hotel pictures made the building look up and together. It was very tired and in want of some TLC. The carpark adjacent to the hotel entrance was limited to 3 hours. Obviously the local authority runs this facility, but it would help if the carpark was twenty four seven. Luckily, I was down for the weekend for the Rowing Championships and managed to park for free along by Deal Rowing Club."

"The hotel was in a pleasant area of the city, very clean and staff were helpful. The breakfast was excellent and I slept very well. What lets it down is the maintenance. The sash cord on one side of the window in the bathroom was broken meaning it did not stay open. The toilet flush was faulty so it continually ran water after use until you jiggled the flush handle to make it stop. There was an illuminated mirror over the basin but when you pulled the on cord it flickered but did not work. The...
