"We spent a one night stay at Armathwaite Hall Hotel and immediately wished it was for longer...The reception staff were exceptionally welcoming, indeed all staff were friendly and helpful. "If you ever go to the Lake District for hiking or whatever, consider going to Keswick. I've been traveling internationally and domestically for 47 years, but I've never experienced the hospitality that we received from Chris and Allison. To say they go the extra mile is an understatement. They go the extra 100. Every day Allison would make us a magnificent, home cooked breakfast, while Chris would actually walk us out to make sure we found the right route to the fell we were climbing that day....
