"Lovely hotel and a very pleasant stay overall. Only downside was that the air con didn't seem to work very well and I don't believe the window opened. I was boiling during the night!
Amazing being able to use the spa and pool in the morning, it was £10 which is very reasonable but it would've been nice if it had been included in the hotel cost as a guest perk.
We had an accessible room which wasn't necessary but it was nice and spacious. Some of the amenities in the toilet looked a little...

"It was a very mixed stay, although overall it was positive.
The first room we were given was very dirty. The walls in particular were yellow and marked, including hand prints on the walls and mould on the curtains (pictured attached). The room was very hot and the window didn't open - no air conditioning either. It was quite small and cramped. Premier inn would have been a lot better.
Having raised concerns to the receptionist we were given a much cleaner room.

"Nice clean room, breakfast very poor for the cost and we paid for swimming access with the family only to be told that it was fully booked, free return pass but we're not local so requesting a refund."

"This property is a gem! Incredibly convenient and comfortable for anyone visiting. We only stayed one night, but the staff was very helpful and nice. The beds are extremely comfortable and air conditioning was key to a very hot couple of days. The amenities are also wonderful."

"I liked the leisure complex which was obviously built more recently than the hotel. Lovely pool and steam room. The gardens were also lovely- you can sit out and have a drink- great when the weather is sunny.?handy for Aldershot and nearby army venues"

"Great stay but HOT! We've stayed at Old Thorns a few times but sadly I won't be staying again during summer. There is no air conditioning in the rooms and the fan provided (had to request it) was quite rubbish.
Our room, apart from being hotter than the sun, was great though. Massive bed and lots of room around it. Had a few issues, such as the phone not working to enable us to request a fan, lack of fridge and very dusty/dirty up-lighters.
