"It was the smallest, shabbiest most basic hotel room I have stayed in for a long time. Beds uncomfortable, bathroom tiny and needs redecorating. Room service poor options and then cancelled the order after waiting nearly an hour for it. Vastly overpriced for what it is."

"If you’re a Beatles fan this hotel is heaven ❤️ If you’re not a Beatles fan it’s still an excellent hotel perfectly positioned. The staff can’t do enough for you Eric and James were fantastic. Room was lovely Breakfast really nice Bar excellent. The Beatles theme is really something very special."

"I travel to Liverpool every month and stay in this hotel regularly. It’s normally fine but my meal last night in the restaurant was one of the worst i have ever experienced. I decided to treat myself to a ribeye steak. It costs £48 so definitely was a treat. It was dreadful. Horrifically over cooked, so much so that I sent it back which I never do. The waiter agreed that it was badly cooked. Took them 20 mins to cook another steak which was even worse than the original one. Over-cooked and tough. It was horrible and made me ill. Service was super slow as well and the restaurant was practically empty. No formal apology, no discount just the offer of a fee dessert but having been there already for 90 mins and on my own I just wanted to leave. So disappointed. Will be changing my hotel in the future. Avoid at all costs."
