"The breakfast was wonderful. Something for everyone. Also the daily outdoor winter lunch was very good too. One night we had the Chef’s dinner and it really was excellent. No point arriving before your room is ready because there is literally nothing to do, even though the room may be ready, you can’t have it till 3pm. "

Unable to use the hotel bar or kitchen after 9pm, very strict on the time, at breakfast you were told at 9-50 that you needed to leave at 10, only seemed to apply to non Japanese customers, they stayed for as long as they wanted. Other than that staff were friendly."

"We had a truly delightful stay. The space was generous, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a spacious living and dining area. "We stayed at Prominence near the start of spring. During this time, many shops, restaurants, and cafés were either closed for the season, closed early, or had limited seating. Many bar-style eateries were also not very welcoming to families with children. In hindsight, it might have been better to stay in the Happo-One area, as it was the only ski resort still open for the remainder of the spring season.
