"Our stay was so enjoyable. The beds were comfy. The room heater was easy to operate. We had chosen an accessible twin room. The staff were lovely, we felt very welcome. We ate in the Jewels restaurant on the 2 nights we stayed and had a mix of the 2 course menu and the bar menu between us. Although we were not there for Sunday lunchtime, there was a plated roast dinner available on the Sunday evening as an extra to the printed menu. The buffet breakfast was really good and well cooked. Overall a great stay!"

"We attended a family wedding held at the hotel. Everything was great for our overnight stay. The staff were very helpful helping us with our luggage as due to the age of the building there are no lifts available. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. A small negative for us was the shower was in a bathtub which was a little tricky to get in/out."

"Well-situated hotel, deluxe room was very comfortable with very fast wifi and fabulous Elemis toiletries. The cathedral view was spectacular. The only gripe was the noise of the extractor fans at the back of the property and the room was too hot! It's a complaint I have about a lot of hotels, unfortunately."

"Have stayed here a few times for business. Friendly welcome from staff, room is clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money and will definitely stay again "

"A sign of the times I suppose, no biscuits in the room, receptionist or manageress, totally unwelcomeing, didn't seem to want to be there. Last negative, my wife likes her bacon well done, but the breakfast had cremated bacon. Otherwise: situated close to Lincoln, other members of staff were really nice. Having visited a number of times, the food is American diner style. On the whole, we wouldn' go back unless things changed for the better or the price undercut everywhere else."
