"When we arrived were immediately helped to sort out the parking. We would have liked to know beforehand that parking was difficult and that valet service was available. Our bags were taken care of and in our room when we checked in. The room was pleasant but there was old water in the kettle and old opened milk sachets. There was no shower gel in the container. Staff did put this right however. Breakfast was good and staff helped with a special order Spa facilities were very good but we hadn’t realised that without booking a treatment you are expected to pay extra per day to use the facilities . We booked dinner on our second night and we were disappointed to hear that some items were off the menu and others had been changed. We then waited far too long for our main course. The food that came out was mixed. Main courses were tasty but side dishes were poor."
