"We did the 2 night cruise and were glad we did, on the second day we transferred to a smaller boat with a smaller number of people (about 15) and spent the day in Ha Long Bay, we seemed to leave all the tourist behind and it was idyllic. We embarked at 1315 and disembarked at 1030 the next morning, having been up at 6am for tai chi then breakfast then kayaking then brunch.
