"Beautiful stay at The Store. It is in the centre of Oxford and in walking distance of all local restaurants and the new theatre.
We arrived slightly early, but were able to complete pre check in and our bags were kept safely. We headed up to the terrace bar while waiting for our room - beautiful views!
Every member of staff was exceptional, couldn’t do enough for you.
Breakfast in the morning was delicious!
We will definitely choose The store again on our next visit.

"I feel bad that I have had to give a mix rating because I feel everything about our stay was going well until I suffered food poisoning. I woke up at 2am in a lot of pain and spent two hours in the bathroom vomiting. Earlier that day I had the king prawns and at dinner I had the flat iron steak. "The air-conditioning was essential and wonderful since the temperatures were a historic high when we were there.

"A rather shabby hotel which save for the restaurant is served by obviously demotivated and poorly trained staff . The attention to detail was quite shocking . The lift was out of order to the the 4th floor and being " urgently " repaired - over a 24 hour period there was no sign of any repair activity , the bar crowded and sporadically staffed. The doormen shuffling about with their shirt tails hanging out and filthy chandeliers in reception. This hotel is an overpriced and dreary place ."

"The whole stay was underwhelming
-Poor check-in experience
-Spa very average ok massage but no way is the price justified I booked for our anniversary not worrying about the price thought it would be special it wasn’t had a better massage at local Thai shop for £60
- Bar poor choice beers local unheard of stuff tasted of nothing want him and tonic expected at least a final 5 Star hotel to have good tonic ie fevertree or Schweppes nope some london essence stuff nothing like tonic water
