"This isn’t an old hotel but it presents that way. We travel a lot and this is the first time we’ve ever encountered it being impossible to plug anything in at the bedside. The hotel uses some strange proprietary outlet for the lamps! This is a health issue as my partner needed to plug in his CPAP. -Poor check-in experience
-Spa very average ok massage but no way is the price justified I booked for our anniversary not worrying about the price thought it would be special it wasn’t had a better massage at local Thai shop for £60

"Arrived at the hotel at 1:30pm as checkin was not until 3pm we sat in the bar and waited. Looking around the staff seemed flustered, stressed and any requests felt like a bit too much trouble. At 3pm went to check in and was told the room was still not ready. Only then were we allowed to use the facilities I.e outdoor pool.(would it have been too much trouble to offer this at 1:30pm?) we were told they would find us when the room was ready.
At 6pm still no sign of staff so went to reception...

"Beautiful place and right in the city centre, so great for movement around. Hotel itself quite neat and they made efforts to give us early check in. They also offered to keep our luggage until our next visit."
