"Stayed in the gorgeous, vivid Nate Berkus room with a modest upgrade courtesy of the fab staff, who are always on point from front desk to restaurant. Did not want to leave. Best hotel and location in NYC, which says a lot because there are countless excellent choices between Midtown and UES alone. This is my staycation + work station away from home/office and never disappoints!"

"Room was clean, staff was accommodating as well. Be aware of the staff coming in rooms without knocking first and also major elevator issues and the pictures presented are not what you see when you get there. There is no bodies of water that viewable from the rooms and I was on the 38th floor in which we got stuck a few times due to the elevator issues. "The hotel was nice and located in a good location for walking to the theater.
The hotel did not provide information on the Uber shuttle which would have saved me over $100++ had I known, there was no complimentary water in the room, and there was no refrigerator to use.

"The elevator situation was a nightmare. The hotel had two working elevators and yet one of them was mostly reserved for private events! It’s as if they didn’t care about their hotel guests. We often waited 25 minutes for an elevator. And the front desk responded “well one elevator has been broken for three weeks and it will get fixed today”. That never happened. This hotel

"Our room was okay but not great.
We had a 15th floor view of equipment and couldn’t see any of the city. Kind of a bummer and not what I expected when booking. We didn’t have time to watch the TV until the last night at which time we found that the cable was not working at all. The water in the shower took a while to warm up to not freezing and didn’t get fully hot.
Staff was nice, particularly the door men. Room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant/bar on top was lovely.
We were safe...
