"My wife and I were traveling to the area to see a concert at the Darien Lake Amphitheater and booked the Asa Ransom House for an overnight stay so we didn’t have to drive back so late. "Seems like a newly renovated place, very clean, had a nice gym on the floor. The staff was professional and courteous. Maybe a microwave could have been a good addition to the rooms utilities. The spa and resto options looked great, we did not have enough time to try that out. Overall a very nice place to stay with family."

"Stayed here several times. Always a good experience. Very friendly staff and great bar/restaurant with great food for reasonable price. Only complaint this visit was the cleanliness of the bathroom. Clumps of hair left in the shower and on the floor near the toilet. The sink also had a slow drain. Overall a nice convenient place to stay for a great price. Morning breakfast would be nice. It is pretty quiet considering the airport is right next to the hotel."

"The hotel was just average. My room didn’t have a working smoke alarm although they were supposed to fix it the day we were out all day. They didn’t. The room shouldn’t have been used I think. The worst part was it’s right next door to the Hospitality Inn on Transit Rd in Williamsville and that place must rent out to families or by the month, because the kids running around were really noisy and the windows did not keep out sound very well. The water pressure in the shower was pretty bad too....

"We had the worst hotel experience of our lives. First of all, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The odor was so overwhelming that it got into our clothes and even lingered on our bodies. The most unacceptable part was that I had reserved a room with two queen beds, but when we arrived, we were told that all the two-bed rooms were gone and were given a room with only one king bed instead.
