The exterior is reminiscent of that old-world, traditional Islamic architecture, but the interior is completely modernized, comfortable, quiet and decorative without being tacky. The location, per se, is tourist attraction, but it is surrounded by a litany of restaurants, all sorts of shops and walking paths. The Corniche and the MIA are walking distance away. The breakfast buffet was superb, so many cooked and cold options and the pool was full length and perfect for swimming laps. The staff were also excellent and very attentive and the hotel was very close to the mall, walkable (just) even in the August heat & humidity, we loved our stay"
