Khách sạn Amboise

"It has been very challenging to get the car in and out the hotel parking. We have had our car scratched as the entrance gate is rather narrow, in a narrow road, without sufficient space in the road to turn and with a surprisingly high flow of incoming cars putting pressure on hotel guests trying to get the car in. Advanced notice of this difficulty and help of parking will be very helpful to international visitors who might not be used to such a parking issue."

"Great location, staff & breakfast."

"This is by far the nicest hotel in the city centre. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. It is within walking distance to the entire core area. Very quaint place with a pretty garden and pool, which is a rarity for hotels in this area. Would return for sure."

"Elegant, clean, exquisite, and unbelievably beautiful-right on the Loire River and under an actual castle. The staff was incredibly attentive. Hakim was wonderful and offered ideas for favorite sights in Amboise. Valet parking. The restaurants were about a 10 minute walk. It is notable that the walk to and from the active restaurant area is very dark, unlit, at night. The ONLY issue. It was a fairy tail visit."

"Very enjoyable stay. 25 minute walk to the centre of Amboise. Pleasant staff. Comfortable room. Only criticism was grout needed cleaning in the bathroom."

"The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The check-in process was flexible and convenient. The location was excellent, with beautiful views of both sides of the river, as the hotel is situated on an island. Highly recommended!"

"Extremely small room, and not the cleanest, but location is superb!"

"Small hotel room, great locatio.. Everything is walking distance. Amboise is beautiful. Keep expectations realistic, and you'll be happy."

"It's like staying at a close friend's home, or your favorite aunt's. Comfortable, friendly and homey. Close to everything you want to see, yet in a residential neighborhood so you get a feel for living in Amboise."

"Chambre propre mais il y avait des odeurs d’égouts"

"For the cost, very fair price for one night stay. Clean. Comfortable bed and quiet location. Check in from 6-9 but no one was there and the keys were left with our name on at 8. No one there in the morning so left the keys on the desk. Did not see an elevator and the stairs were fine for us but consideration for some. Automatic light in the stairway but not in the hallway to the rooms. Used our phone flashlight to access the room. Good lighting in the room."
