"We have stated here in the past and always love to come back when visit DC. My only negatives this time was the hotel seemed very busy and crowded and seemed a bit understaffed. Restaurant services was slow and servers inattentive; valet and check in also took sone time but staff very friendly. The bathroom also had a slight sewer odor from sink or toilet, not sure. The pool was very crowded so did not swim."

"The hotel is nice. Great amenities. Friendly staff and they offer a good free buffet breakfast. Few issues with our room-5 of us adults cannot figure out how to set the thermostat to ac so room was always warm. Our shower door didnt close all of the way. We had a 2 bedroom suite and one of the toilets clogged up. We called about toilet and ac. They said they would send someone up but never did."

"Check in was so easy and the valet was always right there whenever we needed our vehicle. The property was extremely nice. The area is great.We never had to walk more than forty minutes to see anything. The water pressure in the shower was not great and we did have trouble getting enough towels for all of us. Somehow, it didn't get I passed on that.There were four of us staying in the hotel room, not two. Other than that, it was a phenomenal time. Water Gate is right down and across the road....

"The Lyle is an absolute gem. The location alone is worth it — everything is so close that you can explore the entire city without a car. Dupont Circle is the perfect home base, with restaurants, the metro, and so much of DC just a short walk away. The service matched the setting. The staff were warm and attentive from check-in onward, and the bar was a real highlight — a great spot to unwind after a day out. The rooms are beautifully done and incredibly comfortable; the beds in particular...
