"Excellent location on transit but not in the core. The room was ok, but unbearably hot (fan did not help and thermostat seemed to do nothing). Opening windows meant getting attacked by either noise or mosquitoes from the canal at night. The building is undergoing renovation, which is fine, but the smell of old pot in the carpet outside our room was disgusting. Staff super nice and helpful. Great local restaurants and cafes."

"Lovely hotel, super location, friendly helpful staff. Hotel located across the road from the MRT line. Beautiful park opposite the hotel. The only disappointment was the cleanliness. The room in general was clean, but skirtings and edges of carpet, especially on the right hand side of the room were very dusty, lower walls had smudges/finger marks on them and the windows had fingerprints and a haze on them. My stay was very pleasant, hotel is located about 30 minutes outside "Central Station" by tram, which downtown Amsterdam. Hotel is conveniently located right across the street from the tram station that takes you there. Hotel itself is clean, quiet and safe.
