"Room was quiet but a bit tired.comfy bed but could hear tv next door.staff were excellent and breakfast was delicious.all round a pleasant stay."

"We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner downstairs. There was plenty of parking space. The hotel was well maintained considering how old the house itself is."

"My Daughter and I have just had a 2 night stay at the Forest Lodge having traveled up from Kent for a wedding. On arrival we were greeted and immediately were made to feel welcome , nothing was a problem , All the staff were amazing and we would like to say a huge thank you for making our stay so pleasurable . "The staff and owners of the pub were amazing and couldn’t do enough to make our stay good. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The pub is situated in a small village and there is road noise but it’s quiet at night. It’s an incredibly old building so obviously not going to be modern and sparkling new. A nice stay "
