"We enjoyed our stay, the bathroom required a makeover but was spotless as was the room. Staff very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast, good selection on offer and evening meal was very good.Great location and excellent parking. Would return if in the area again."

"Quirky old hotel with creaky floorboards in the corridors. Obviously extended over the years as evident in the various level changes as you navigate through the mazy corridors and stairwells to your room. Room was adequate; bed comfortable, and bathroom facilities very good. Only down side was no tissues provided in the room. Used the restaurant for the evening meal - quiet that evening but menu selection not too bad and prices reasonable."

"I had a night's stop over at Banbury and chose Ashlea Guest House based on the positive reviews. I was not disappointed. I had a warm welcome from Julie and a quick check-in. Julie gave me a map of the locale and pointed out places to eat. My room was clean and had everything I needed - a super-comfortable kingsize bed, ensuite bathroom with plenty of hot water via an electric shower, big fluffy towels and some nice touches such as magnifying makeup mirror, cotton wool pads and buds. The room was lovely and quiet and I got a great night's sleep."

"The hotel is located in a shopping mall and the property is NOT visible from any road. No sign pointing to the hotel either. Very hard to find the hotel. The room is clean and everything worked. No house keeping for the 3 days we stayed. All meals must be pre-purchased. "

"The apartment was spotless when we arrived. My daughter has Autism and finds new surroundings difficult to adapt to - she loved her room and the overall comfort and layout of the flat. Everywhere was absolutely spotless and a credit to your cleaners - give them a raise! It was nice to have such a nice place to rest up after our daily trips to Silverstone - I will book again, when we come next. A very big thank you."
