"Lots of construction happening right outside. It's not their fault but be aware. Also search what happens at night at that end of la rambla. I don't judge, but I'm glad mom didn't see it"

"My husband and I had a lovely stay here. They upgraded us to a beautiful, renovated room with a very large terrace and outdoor shower. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel is located on a beautiful avenue very close to public transportation and main sights and with lots of shopping. The breakfast was on the pricier side but very good nonetheless. I would definitely stay here again."

"The check-in process was cumbersome even though I had filled out the online information in advance. There were charges for breakfast and local taxes that were unclear. The location of the hotel is problematic when getting a taxi - you have to walk up the alley/street. When we did this for a taxi to the airport, one of our bags were stolen. Beware of pic-pockets and luggage thieves in this section of Barcelona!"

"Staff were excellent. Especially Alex over at the front bar. Hotel is in a good location to access everything, but you do get some of the downside of being in an area so close to the Ramblas. Decent amount of noise through the night, and there's a mission up the street that can draw interesting crowds in the later hours. Bathroom doors in our room we're fairly transparent glass, so if you need a bit more privacy you may want to inquire about the type of setup first."

"Excellent location. Lovely rooms. Rooftop pool is more for a dipping pool, quite small and it tends to be filled with 20 somethings not really suitable for families. Location is very central but parts of it are quite dodgy with homeless people around. The area is predominantly a muslin area. Near to metro and bus and only about half an hour by taxi from airport."
