"Spotless warm cosy room on a cold Winters night. I like the chalet style rooms in the courtyard area which are dog friendly as you can just pop out to water the dog on the vast lawn area. Feels more like a “little house”. We had a huge bathroom in room 6, with a separate double shower cubicle and bath. Again lovely and warm radiator in bathroom. "Beautiful grounds, historic buildings and a well appointed and equipped spa helped us enjoy a luxurious and relaxing mini break. The full vegetarian breakfast was delicious and really well cooked - a nice bonus to have this included for a minimal extra charge. Tracy at breakfast and Gino in the evening were stand out members of staff but everyone we encountered was as helpful and friendly. Beth & Damon on reception gave us a warm welcome. "
