"Den store positive ved opholdet i slutningen af november var den udendørs opvarmede pool samt spa. Vi fik 2 vindstille dage hvor det var muligt at tage en dukkert. God og venlig service i forbindelse med billeje og madpakker til lufthavnen. Morgenmaden varieret og fremragende. Hotellet havde dog kun en standard buffet ifm aftensmaden. "

"Very simple place but exactly what I wanted. Quiet but in the very centre of Mijas..the instructions to get there could be better (not everyone arrives by car!) and it was a bit disconcerting that there were no staff on duty but it was easy to understand how to get in but "

"The entrance and lobby at this hotel are simply gorgeous, a real attention to detail makes this a welcoming environment. The rooms are spacious and clean, and although the balconies are small, they do provide a lovely view. The solarium area and sunbathing spaces are ample and both pools were refreshing. The pool bar has lots of options and a nice food menu. Overall, having stayed in 5 or 6 hotels in the vicinity, Hotel Alay has proved to be my favourite and actually great value for money...

"Ich habe vier wunderbare Tage in diesem Hotel verbracht. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich begrüßt und konnten das Zimmer sogar früher beziehen. Die Unterkunft war außergewöhnlich sauber – so eine gepflegte Anlage habe ich bisher selten erlebt. Das Frühstück war zudem fantastisch: eine hervorragende Auswahl, dazu Obst und Gemüse in bester Qualität. Die Sportmöglichkeiten sind ebenfalls beeindruckend: perfekt gepflegte Anlagen, großartige Padelplätze und ein exzellenter...

"Check in was very easy as was gaining access to the room. The room was very clean, although could do with redecoration. The air conditioning barely worked. There were two security issues 1. the patio door lock was broken and replaced by a hook and eye, with only one loose screw securing it. 2. the room safe did not seem to work, although it did seem to have new batteries. Except for these, i would have given full marks for the price. "
