"We really enjoyed our stay at the Crowne Plaza Chicago West Loop. For a Chicago trip, the location was very convenient for getting downtown and around the city, and the price was extremely reasonable compared with many other hotels in the area. There are also several great restaurants nearby, which made it easy to find a good meal without going far.
The Rye restaurant inside the hotel was a pleasant surprise and was genuinely very good. We also enjoyed takeout from a nearby Greek restaurant, so the surrounding neighborhood was definitely a plus for us.
Pro tip: there is a grocery store directly across the street from the hotel. It is a great place to stock up on snacks, packaged food, drinks, and alcohol at normal grocery-store prices instead of paying hotel or convenience-store prices. That was a simple perk, but one we really appreciated during our stay. The room has a nice sized mini refrigerator and KCup coffee maker.
Overall, we thought the Crowne Plaza Chicago West Loop was a very good value: convenient location, reasonable price, good food nearby, and a solid hotel restaurant. We would happily stay there again."
