"Visited during the extreme temperatures, air con in the rooms was amazing, down to 16 degrees. Staff friendly and helpful, room very clean and a decent size, modern, bathrobe, slippers on request. Breakfast made to order, so lovely and fresh. Second stay here and my go to for Birmingham summer or winter!!"

The reception area was clean, spacious and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They showed us where we were on a map and pointed out nearby attractions, including directions to the Utilita Arena where we were attending an event. "Possibly the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Bed was comfy, difficult for two of us to get dressed in the room at the same time 😂. Basic common area amenities, mention of a grab and go breakfast but no sign of one. Paid coffee machine in lobby. Good venue in nice part of Brum close to pretty St Paul’s Square. Probably won’t stay there again, but it was ok."

"Unfortunately we were put in a room that faces the road where there are ongoing roadworks. These went on all through the night, we gave up at 7 am and went for breakfast then headed straight home. The lorries were constantly back and forth with reversing alarms going. I have complained to premier inn but they accept no responsibility for placing guests in rooms while this work continues. Avoid Waterloo Street Birmingham for the time being."

"it was incredibly clean, it was exactly what i wanted. i needed somewhere with a large fridge and a microwave to heat up food and store all the drinks needed for this kind of weather. the only downside for me personally was the tv didn't have all of the popular streaming apps on the interface and the chromecast feature was a bit glitchy."

The room was nice and cool on arrival (a relief during the heatwave!) and the room was ideal for the 3 of us sharing an apartment. Had everything we could need. "Fantastic service from the moment we arrived we were offered an upgrade which whilst it sounded great actually was in a smaller bed than the original room that we had booked. Although the room was considered to be an upgrade we decided to decline that offer, due to this. Moving back into our originally booked room was seen as no problem at all from the staff who are with us within just a couple of minutes to put us back into our original room with the larger bed. "The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, we were assigned a Club Room next to a Suite with a connecting door, and the soundproofing was extremely poor. We could clearly hear loud conversations, shouting, and piano playing from the suite until the early hours of the morning, making it difficult to get any rest. The comfort of this room depends entirely on the guests staying in the suite next door. I regret choosing a Club Room and wish I had booked a standard room instead. I would also...
