"Stayed at multiple places in England and this hotel had the best English breakfast by far. Would return just for the breakfast"

"Staff on reception very helpful. Secure parking was a welcome bonus. The room was spacious enough for one/couple. Tea/coffee in room. Shower gel.and soap supplied. Plenty of hanging space. Very warm and a fan was supplied. Bathroom was clean and large enough. Overall very good stay. Didn't have a breakfast so can't comment only, it smelled delicious."

"Lovely clean room, excellent staff, great kitchen. BUT… green light in room not conducive to good sleep, and the fire alarm went off at midnight, after which the excitement seemed to evoke some guests to chat and laugh through the night until 3am, then the same group of four men woke up and continued their frivolities from 5:30am until they left just after 7am. Not the staff’s fault. But the sound proofing is poor."

"Joules and her Son were absolutely wonderful hosts. We couldn’t have been made to feel any more welcome and we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was outstanding - lots of choice and super fresh and tasty. Joules’ baking was a great surprise treat, a lovely touch in our room on arrival and the Brownies later in our stay were out of this world! Our room was spotless, very comfy bed, lovely armchairs with the spectacular view over Ironbridge and the valley....

"The room was clean and comfortable. It was very warm, but a hotel of that age can't be expected to have aircon so it was mitigated with fans. Staff were excellent throughout and sorted any minor niggle i had. Would highly recommend."

"I always choose this place whenever I need a stopover in the Midlands! It has consistently proven to be one of my absolute favorite hotels in the region. I genuinely enjoy every single stay. "Lovely place However, AC was not working and needed to be on when we arrived. Far to hot. When we tiried to turn on, it was broken. A fan was provided, which helped, . But as warmth is insured on arrival during colder days, AC needs the same consideration in the hotter temperatures"

"The room was clean and spacious. Has the usual complimentary hot drinks, hairdryer and also an iron and ironingboard. A choice of scrambled eggs, beans, bacon along witk a good range for a continental breakfast, served early from 6am both Saturday and Sunday, useful as I had to be a the event from 7.30am. Helpful, pleasant staff. Enjoyed my stay. Also this hotel was walking distance (5 mins) from the Telford indoor shopping centre where there was a large range of shops and places to eat."

"Overall the hotel was really nice, and they have fantastic views, either over the large pond or over the canal over breakfast. It was in need of a little TLC especially in our bedroom. We did find the buffet a bit disappointing as it was cold and appeared to have been there since first thing (we were there an hour after service started). We also found one or two flies in the bedroom and the restaurant. However the staff were very friendly and helpful, and despite our minor issues, we would...
