"Excellent meal, really good, im gluten intolerant but as everything is cooked fresh from ingredients the chef can do most meals on the menu. Definitely worth a return trip"

"Worst sleep ever. Rock hard beds and pillows, the room we stayed in was on the second floor (4 flights of stairs, no lift) and the room was on a slant, the whole place seemed uneven. The worst part though was the other clientele - loud, noisy and banging until well into the early hours, we didn’t get to sleep until 3am after trying and failing to contact the emergency phone line which told us to leave a message and they would respond within 24 hrs - good job it wasn’t an emergency like being locked out! Eventually we had to knock on the door of the person making all the noise and ask them to be quiet, not something you should have to do but the only way we could get some peace. Would avoid this place like the plague."

"rooms were a good size, with 2 armchairs! Always a plus. Breakfast was a buffet on day 1 but on day2 they cancelled and we had to order what we wanted. Hotel is central and the parking is excellent and free. "

"The bathroom was very much rundown with a broken shower and it didn't feel clean. I also requested a disabled access room which was not honoured."

"The “hotel” is really a series of separate buildings spread out across a large site. There is no central location to meet for drinks/ coffee. The only restaurant is at the top of a hill (accessed by steep stairways/roads ). There appeared to be some golf buggies but it was not clear how these could be accessed. The restaurant was large and cafeteria-like, lacking in atmosphere. There was a restricted menu; no room service available (you have to collect your meal) and I was told at 4.15 that they stopped serving afternoon tea at 4pm ( which is exactly when most people would want it). The room was clean and well decorated but it was very dimly lit and had minimal toiletries ( no shower cap/tissues). At just over £200 a night for a standard double room it was not great value."

"The room was clean, with everything needed for a short stay. The range of hot chocolates, tea, coffes and biscuits was a lovely touch. The free breakfast offered in the morning was great quality, with a wide range of choices. The hotel is situated above an amazing pub, which has a amazing beer garden. I would highly recommend for the price. "
