"Staff was incredibly kind and room was clean and comfortable. But, for paying $162, I was absolutely expecting more.
The drawbacks:
•No ‘do not disturb’ signs.
•Minimal breakfast items. This was real bad.
Only cereal and premade omelets. A few breads. No breakfast potatoes or meat. No oatmeal. No biscuits and gravy. No waffle makers. They could at least add ONE more thing to this breakfast bar.
•paper thin walls
•refrigerator didn’t work in our room
•very low pressure in the shower head.
•pool was closed.
I’d actually like a refund on this stay to be honest."
"Night desk person was very rude. Didn’t want me on the property due to an issue over the phone, so made an excuse to kick me out saying I was smoking. I have never smoked, so how did he smell smoke? Lies. Will never return or recommend anyone to this property."
"There was not the normal selections that I find at other hotel breakfasts. The pancake machine did not work. There was no sausage/gravy.
No ice machines were working on any floor.
However the room was nice."
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bourbonnais East - Bradley by IHG
6/10 Okay
"Just ok, really overpriced for what it was at $200 for a night plus deposit for 2 queens. Pool and all common areas and hallways overrun by 11 or 12 year olds in town for a baseball game or tournament playing ding dong ditch on room doors until 1030 at night and beginning again at 9 am. Hot breakfast and coffee good, but the baseball kids AND their parents cut in line and were generally like a wild pack of hyenas. Staff was really friendly, but the constant warning signs all around the property reminding you of rules about parties and quiet time were clearly not in play during our stay. Completely ruined our night away with our 6 year old for his birthday because he couldn't even swim because of it. Not the hotel fault they acted that way, but they would've enforced their own rules to control it. A terrible waste of money in this economy, will not stay again."
"I was pleasantly surprised with the Hampton Inn in Bourbonnais. The room was spotless and spacious. The front desk staff were kind and helpful. No issues. Stay here! "
