"Really spacious rooms and great central location"

"I keep telling myself it’s cheap and cheerful, and it is to some degree.. but it has a 4* sign as you drive in, and this just isn’t the case. Rooms are run down and have needed upgrading for years. The swimming pool has been “ under maintenance” on the 3 occasions I have stayed over the years, so I just question whether it is ever open. The carpets needed hoovering in the hallways and our room. "We arrive a little bit early but good news room was available.drove round the back of the building on your right was staff accommodation well what a sight that is Brocken window frames.windows that looked like they had never been cleaned , right eye sore. luckily we wear not staying in them .our room was just past them basic but showers looked new .coffee and tea and water in room . "We chose this hotel because it advertised a swimming pool and thought it would be a nice treat for my son and me. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations.
