"Beautiful Victorian style hotel. Hotel is clean and maintained but is dated and a musty smell in the room. Parking is definitely on a slanted hillside. Staff were cordial but not overly friendly. I give the breakfast a B. Dennys restaurant & Krispy Kreme doughnuts next door. Tanger outlet very close."

"The room was spacious and very clean. Bed was comfy, shower pressure was good. There was a table and 3 chairs, convenient when bringing meals back to the room. I'm an older female, was traveling alone and felt very safe coming back to my room after dark. The place is WELL lit. It's a small, older hotel and my particular room had a few minor maintenance issues - rust on the shower curtain rod, small cracks in the sink, top dresser drawer would slowly roll back open after you closed it (which was a bit freaky until I realized what was happening). The only towel bar in the room was about 12-18 inches above the toilet - not ideal. But there was nothing that was a deal breaker for me. Nice mini fridge and microwave. A charging station on the nightstand, which was really handy. Hairdryer and full sized coffee maker in room. Wish the TV had been a bit larger, but that's just because of my old eyes, not a hotel problem. The owners were amazing! Mina was very personable, kind and helpful, she wanted to make sure my stay was pleasant - and it was. Although I left my four-legged crew at home, pets are welcome here. (Owners dog, Chewy, was adorable.) The hotel is right on 76, a convenient location, about a mile from the convention center. Overall, it was a great place to stay while attending the conference, and I'd stay there again."

"Could not ask for better budget friendly accommodations. Staff was very friendly, polite and responsive even after hours. The room was clean, the linens smelled great, and the grounds were well maintained. We didn't go in the pool so I can't comment on that. We had two queen beds and they were both comfy. The blackout curtains worked great and the TV, fridge and microwave worked well. The A/C was a bit noisy but it worked really well. There is a quiet street behind the motel where you can walk your dog, if you want an actual walk and not just a potty break. My only two critiques would be the lack of water pressure and the sometimes tight parking. However, everything was so pleasant here that I would book again, even with the water pressure not blasting me to the back of the shower like I like it to. I think it's a tremendous value for your money. No frivolous soaps or shampoos or Terry cloth robes. Just a clean, friendly and DOG friendly, place to stay. Keep on keepin' on, Motel 6, because you rock!"
