Pet friendly for our two cats, we are using hotel on M62 as a stepping stone between house moves, plus it's nearer to hubby's work, would recommend.

Very basic room amenities! Bed base is not safe, due to the part missing, and subsequently banging my toes due to the space (Room 115). Was also sent a parking bill (£5) invoice, even though explained company parking had been paid via SNAP account! Overall check-in staff provided good customer service. Note: If you need a drink other than coffee & tea, visit the services. £2.80 for 500ml Dr Pepper. Booking with Expedia was last minute, very quick and easy!

Decent hotel for breaking up a longer drive

I've stayed at the hotel before, it's basically a bed to split a long drive - so I caveat any comments on that basis. It's not a hotel to be used as part of a "romantic getaway", that's for sure. Staff are very pleasant, helpful - I got checked in a bit earlier than stated check-in time. Room smelled foisty / damp and that had permeated somewhat into the bedding - but the bedding was clean and bed comfy, and arriving back to the hotel at 1.00am, I wasn't too fussed! Good powerful shower, plenty of hot water, shower head could do with being higher - it was pointed at my chest, but I am 6'3" tall, so shorter people probably won't have an issue. I'll stay again, for the reasons stated at the start, but definitely a "head down for a few hours" sort of hotel.

There was an issue with payments going through as we used a third party. A lot of undue stress, having to sort it out for both stays when the emails were asking for payment again. Maintenance was needed to refit the handrail twice. The staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming. The room was clean.

Quite in the rear side of the hotel, comfortable bed and room. Friendly service, please book with the hotel directly for free parking, if not then there is a charge for parking each day! Payable at the hotel in the services.
