I booked an executive room it was definitely not, there were 2 beds, a fridge ( very noisey ) no wifi that sets you back £7 per day if you manage to get on the site to pay the free code they gave me did not work. They do not service the rooms and look at you gone out when you ask for a bottle of water to replenish the fridge. That said the food is very reasonable and reasonabally priced plus theres a happy hour between 5-7

Staff, the gym and swimming area where lovely had a great experience with that however the hotel room itself was a big disappointment from the bed being loud and uncomfortable whenever you moved, the walls are so thin we got woken up by the next door phone alarm.

The staff at the hotel were so friendly and polite. But the facilities were awful. One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The room smelt of mould and was very run down and outdated

I stayed for four nights but spent a small fortune on daily parking (over £10 per night). My bed was never made for four nights and was small with only two cheap pillows. The plugs next to the bed was filthy with dust, spillages and disgusting. Good point the reception staff were lovely but there's no lift if you have heavy luggage to get up the stairs! Also you had to pay a fortune for wifi. just awful

Key to room given to someone else
I left this long enough waiting from a reply from the hotel but have not heard back off them. I stayed here with my 4-year-old son. At 12:40am whilst we were sleeping another guest at the hotel came into are room. I got out of bed, asked what was going on and they left without saying anything. I got back into bed and 1 minute later someone else came into the room, then left shortly after. The next morning, I explained to reception what had happened, they checked their notes and found that someone had given these people a key to my room 273 instead of 237. He didn't initially apologise, maybe hoping that the explanation was enough. But after stressing that it was unacceptable that this happened with my child in the room he said a quick sorry and then moved on. I sent a complaint to the hotel but have not heard anything back, was expecting at least an acknowledgement of what I had said but had no reply at all.

Friendly Staff
Rooms are comfy, beds are big enough for a good nights sleep. The furniture is a little dated although they are going through an upgrade. Service in bar area was slow, there was only 1 working running 2 areas it was ok when quiet but when people started coming in it could have been up to twenty minutes waiting for a drink. Food was ok if needed a quick bite. Staff friendly and happy to help, if I was in area again I would consider staying again

It really was not good pictures very misleading. Check in wasn’t very pleasant, whole place was dirty. TV didn’t work and I ended up leaving my room and booking into the local premier inn. Disappointing.

Rating seems harsh.
I was not sure about this hotel given the reviews but I was very happy with my stay. Maybe there has been a lot of improvements from past reviews? We had an executive room, we were just passing through but the room was great, bathroom clean if basic but a massive room and a massive tv which we never got to use. Not sure what else you could want for the price. We didn’t do breakfast but the lobby and food area looked really good. Car park and exterior doesn’t do it justice but happy we chose it for our splash and dash. I used the pool with my boy which was a nice way to start the day.
